I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy offering confidential, empathic counselling from my practice in Central Purley.
My counselling approach is person centred, humanistic, and physiodynamic. I work with individuals and couples.
I have been a counsellor since 1995. I trained initially as a bereavement counsellor and went on to train as a relationship counsellor, I worked with Relate for 8 years.
In recent years I have worked for a grief and trauma charity supporting children, teenagers and adults through this very difficult time in their lives. At present I work with parents, counselling and advising on all issues relating to parental guidance.
I can provide both short term and open ended therapy.
Training, qualifications and experience
Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Member of BACP with a Diploma in Individual and Couple Counselling from Relate. I have worked within a number of Counselling services in London supporting adults and children.
I am a sessional co-ordinator working with a parenting charity facilitating parenting groups and supporting parents in individual sessions through parenting surgeries.
